Happy Monday,

I can't believe how quickly the month of October has flown by.  We have been very busy in Grade 3. In Language, we have been focusing on Recount writing in class.  

In Science this week we will focus on Friction.  

In Math , we are working on Mental Addition strategies and problem solving.

In Art, we went for a nature walk and studied the lines in the leaves.  The students had an option to draw one leaf by using a magnifying glass or doing a rubbing of several leaves.  The results were lovely. With a little luck, I will remember how to put a slideshow on the blog and can share our art gallery.  

The walkathon was a big success, thanks to our Parent Council and to your support, as well.  

Got to run and work on report cards.
