Happy Easter,

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday.  This week, the Grade 5 students will finish the Patterning and Algebra unit.  Friday there will be a Patterning quiz.  As always, I have made a practise test for the students to complete. The students were give a hard copy of the review sheet today and I have also shared the review to their math folder in Hapara. The review is due back to school on Thursday so that we can go over the questions in class.  Students who complete the review and participate when we go over the work are always more prepared for the quiz.

In Language, students should finish reading the novel they picked for literature circles.  They may use their novel as part of the nightly reading and Book Log assignment.  The grade 5 students will also complete their Explanatory letter this week.
