Ok, now it feels like Autumn.  We had a busy week. It was wonderful to have an opportunity to meet many of you on Tuesday night at the Meet the Creature (whoops Teacher) event.  

In Language, we explored what it means to be a Responsible Citizen and began to examine the responsibilities of a digital citizen.  We will continue to work in our Digital Citizenship unit next week.  The October BookLog will be shared on the Google Drive of each child.  A hard copy will also be available for those who prefer to do their homework the old fashion way.  We will focus this month on writing clear, informative Reading Response paragraphs.  

In Math, there will be a short quiz Thursday on Place Value and Rounding.  Our Math review this week will be a practice test.  This review is due back on Wed.  We will correct the review together.  I highly recommend that your child complete the practice test and be ready to correct it on Wednesday with the class.  I will also send home the math journal for your child to review before the quiz.
