What a beautiful weekend!  

Our Walkathon was a big success on Friday.  Thank  you for your donations and for joining us on our walk.  We could not have asked for a more lovely morning!

This week we will have a math quiz on Friday.  The quiz is on decimal numbers to the hundredth (0.99).   A math review will be sent home Monday.  Ask your child to bring it back on Wednesday and we will correct the front page.  If they are still unsure about one of the decimal topics we covered this is the time to let me know.  They can complete the back of the sheet for Thursday and we will correct and go over the answers to the back then.  The quiz will be the same types of questions with different numbers.

We will focus on our editing skills this week.  Many students seem to write their reading responses quickly and say they are done without checking over their work.  We will focus this week on the importance on looking back to see if there is proper sentence structure, capitals, periods.   We will also review how important it is to check back to see if we have answered the question correctly.
